This video covers some important stuff that the others didn’t. Like how to put the machine cover back on! Mine just started making a loud noise tonight. I was watching t.v., and heard what sounded like a helicopter landing in my yard, lol. So I followed the sound down to the basement and it was the old Frigidaire top loading washer. I have a bad feeling from watching UA-cam that it’s the rear bearing, but I’ll check the belt and springs first. Thanks for posting the video; it is helpful to see how the machine is opened up and put back together.

Where did you get the new cylinders?

I have exactly the same dishwasher, the pump broke twice within two year of purchase

Ours started leaking after 3 years. The company that handles our warranty is 150 miles away. They sent a guy out to fix ours. He replaced the pump and checked other things then left. It leaks as bad as it did before he worked on it. Is there anything else to check? The company in little Rock claims there's no way its leaking and want $350 to fix it under warranty

Fyi, try not to get anything on the brake pads themselves & if you do, hit them with some break cleaner & a soft bristle brush to get any sand\gravel\debris\dirt\etc off of them, as sand\gravel\debris\dirt\etc can gouge ruts in the newly honed drums & also ruin brake pads.

Eddie, Just pulled my control panel down and the main red wire from the plug is burned. can i replace that harness to the switch? why would this main power burn at the switch connection? thanks

I think mine did update- set up the pattern code. I never use these things.

Wires on mine had a broken and burnt wire the element connector. Replaced the connector then a few weeks later it burned the other end the the other connector.

Good job fixing it. Me personally I take the front off for easier access

This video is how to replace a broken stud on the REAR WHEEL . I'm looking to replace the stud on the FRONT WHEEL I don't know if they are similar but the FRONT WHEEL has BRAKE CALIPERS and the REAR WHEEL has BRAKE DRUMS . .

Mines acts like its spinning and draining then the clothes still be soaked. My fiance load it worked second it didn't. First started last week. Bout to dry the second load how long it takes. But smart white load it drained drained. Tryna jump on it before it gets worse.

why not just the thermals? I've used a multimeter to determine it's one fo the thermal fuses that is bad, adn was hoping to save a few bucks (and time) just replacing that piece...

Thank you very much for this, Eddie. Thanks to you, I was able to get in there, reset the switch and finish the laundry. Clearly the duct is ready for another cleaning, as well as the machine. I’ll take care of that in the next week or so. My Spax bits that I use for my carpentry screws fit the Bosch screws perfectly.

After watching this I decided to take mine to a mechanic to have it done.

I had a similar issue. Error code 30. Which is pump related. It was stuck in drain cycle. That was not the issue. I Replaced the water level switch, to no avail. So I began the test sequence from t'01 and ran all of them individually to t'12. I didn't do t13. After which I reset the unit and ran an empty load to see if I'd get error 30 again. I did not. I don't know what exactly reset itself or from which test. I suspect the filler tray because it's indicator was between 3-4 before I ran the test. After the test it rested at 1. Anyway. I have an extra level switch and a working washing machine. Thanks man.

This technician is spot on. I pulled the old one out and just laid the new one next to it and copied the wiring to the new one. Inspect your main black power lead closely. Mine had heat damage and I had to cut it back two inches to get into good clean copper again, and put a new slot clip on. AWith vacuuming and cleaning, this is about an hour job. Pro tip, use a magnetic driver head, or use a small piece of tape to hold your screw to the driver. You can't get two arms in this space.
